I have looked at ALL the websites in question and would feel comfortable contacting any of these people for advise or for a purchase.

Thank you xxx,
The thread that has gone onward with disqualifying a 'macaw breeder' simply has taken the focus off the fact that anyone can get up on a list and say 'I want to buy a Hyacinthine Macaw' and the flow of messages determines the person is qualified and approved by list members. Going over the days messages is what I have read, this breeder is out n you qualify.
Seems to me that the criteria would be to find the right home for birds and the threads that continue simply hurt my babies and my "ability" to find the qualified home.
Hyos breeders no longer are able to assist one another for this cause of finding good homes for this special Macaw. We at one time were able to do this together.
Little does or did anyone give a thought to the fact the people may not be qualified in my opinion to buy the Hyos baby. I have no intentions of playing consultant to a pet owner or 'training or teaching' the person in Hyos care for my babies.
I will disqualify them..of course, all they have to do is get up on a list and ask and directly and immediately be approved as 'bonified buyers' just because they were referred by list members.
I have learned a grave lesson and I take responsibility to who buys my birds even more so now. No one will talk me into selling one of my babies to 'anyone.' They'll meet my criteria or will not be qualified. With this, please know I'll make every attempt to 'show or direct the people to my professional sources 'why' they do not qualify and if their eyes light up..I'll know. If they have to get up on a list and not give information that did disqualify them from buying one of my babies, then I'll know I did the right thing.
When I rescued Mikee (will be forty years old in October) from a pig auction it was another two bird breeders who called me to rescue him. They kept tract of the situation while I made the bids..
